Full wave rectifier

P-N junction diode:-
Fig:-Diode

It is an electronics component that allows the current to flow only in one direction.
Forward biasing:-

When the p-side of diode is connect to the positive side and n-side of diode is connect to the negative side of the battery then the diode is said to be forward biased.During forward biasing the depletion width is reduced & the barrier potential is reduced so current flows.
Reversed biasing:-

when the p-side is connected  to the negative side of battery and n-side of battery is connect to the positive side of the battery then the diode is said to  be reversed biased. The depletion width is increased  as result no current flows due to majority charge but small amount of current flow due to minority charge carrier.

Full Wave Rectifier:-
There are two types of  full wave rectifier they are mention below:-

  • Bridge Rectifier
  • Centre Tapped

Bridge rectifier

Operations:-
During positive cycle:-

  • During the positive half cycle diodes D1 and D3 are in forward biased and diodes D2&D4 are in reversed biased.
  • Equivalent circuit is shown below

During negative cycle:-

  • During the  negative half cycle diodes D2 and D4 are in farward  biased and  diodes D1 and D3 are in reversed biased.
  • Equivalent circuit is given below

Combined output of bridge rectifier is shown below:-

Centered tapped:-

Operations:-
During positive cycle:-

  • During the positive cycle diode D1 is in farward biased and diode D2 is in reversed biased.
  • The equivalent diagram is shown below:-

During negative cycle:-

  • During the positive cycle diode D2 is in farward biased and diode D1 is in reversed biased.
  • The equivalent diagram is shown below:-
Combined output of the centered tapped rectifier is shown below:-

warm clothes distribution program

‘ Small step can make a big difference ’ Rural Women Development Centre from morang,Nepal distributed the warm clothes to the needy people. They manage it possible by collecting fund from working staffs and management committe. Here is the video link of the distribution program. https://youtu.be/AxaHbivcQUM

Multiple mcp23017 interfacing with Arduino

MCP23017 is the I/O port extender that runs on 12C. It is 16-bit I/O expender.in this tutorial we are going to interface the single and multiple  mcp23017 with arduino.  fig:- mcp32017 module IT has 16 I/O ports from PA0 to PA7 and PB0 to PB7. first of all we are going to interface the single mcp23017 with Arduino. For this  connect the circuit as shown on figure. Download the library for mcp23017  from  sketch-- include library -- manage libraries.
